Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bullish performance on Tuesday for the second session in a row, amid a slight rise in liquidity.
The general index rose 0.75% or 33.82 points to reach 4,564.63 points.
Trading volume reached 57.39 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 67.71 million shares on Monday. Turnover stood at AED 144.14 million, compared to AED 143.55 million.
The real estate sector increased 2.11% as Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties levelled up 2.38% and 1.82%, respectively.
The banks sector grew 1.03% after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and National of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) climbed 1.40% and 1.36%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector fell 0.88% as TAQA declined 3.2%.
NBAD was the value leader after generating AED 63.62 million, while Aldar was the most active stock after trading 15.12 million shares.
