Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 47.08 points, or 1.02%, to close at 4,662.58 points in week.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 233.44 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 702.84 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, surged 3.09% each.
The investment sector rose 1.03%, as Waha Capital grew 0.56%, while the banks sector added 0.57% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) jumped 4.84%.
In a similar vein, the energy sector increased by 0.43%, as Taqa levelled up 0.93%, while the real estate sector grew 0.64% after Aldar Properties gained 2.44%.
