Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down 0.4% or 18.21 points to end Monday's trading session at 4,519.32 points, unlike its positive performance on Sunday, 30 August.
Turnover totalled AED 733.76 million after 151.54 million shares had been traded through 3,139 transactions.
The market cap value retreated by AED 2.55 billion to AED 677.32 billion, compared to AED 679.87 billion during the previous session.
The telecommunications sector topped the decliners with 1.19%, while the energy segment led the risers with 0.75%.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) headed the losing stocks with 5%, while Sharjah Group came on top of the rising stocks with 10.39%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 230.10 million, while Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 72.47 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the losing blue chips with 1.23%, while Dana Gas topped the rising blue chips with 1.53%.
