Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Wednesday’s early trades in the red, dragged down by the decline of blue chips especially in the real estate sector.
The main index slid 0.75% or 32.13 points to reach 4,275.26 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the worst performer after falling 1.23% as Aldar Properties levelled down 1.49%.
The banks sector lost 0.9% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) retreated 1.3%. Likewise, the telecom sector slid 0.52% as Etisalat decreased 0.52%.
Turnover reached AED 18.33 million after trading 10.08 million shares through 136 transactions.
