Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session 0.19% or 8.83 points higher at 4,577.11 points.
ADX’s trading value shrank to AED 69.44 million on Sunday from AED 131.46 million in the previous session, as 39.22 million shares were traded compared to 52.21 million.
The energy segment rose by 0.96%, on the back of Dana Gas which gained 1.59%.
The banks sector levelled up 0.41%, endorsed by the 5.33% growth of RAKBank.
ADX’s real estate segment went up 0.13%, backed by Eshraq Properties which rose 1.08%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector lost 0.27% in line with Etisalat's stock which posted the same decline.
RAKBank was the most active stock on which 20.85 million shares were traded, rising 5.33%.
