Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance on Sunday, dragged down by the fall of real estate and banks sectors.
The general index lost 0.14% or 6.51 points to reach 4,674.77 points.
Trading volume reached 330.74 million shares on Sunday, compared to 402.08 million shares last Thursday. Turnover amounted to AED 436.07 million, compared to AED 436.3 million.
The real estate sector was the worst performer with a 0.70% decline as RAK Properties and Aldar Properties sank 2.6% and 1.1% respectively.
The banks sector levelled down 0.39% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) tumbled 0.75% and 0.52% respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector rose 1.83% after TAQA and Dana Gas grew 2% and 1.79% respectively.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 6.04% as Waha Capital went up 6.4%.
