Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled down by 0.56 % or 28.39 points at the end of Tuesday’s trading session to close at 5,083.39 points.
The bourse’s turnover reached AED 83.56 million where 23.79 million shares were exchanged through 874 transactions.
The market cap value plunged by AED 1.86 billion to AED 522.86 billion from AED 524.72 billion in the previous session.
The real estate sector lost 0.45%, while the energy sector gained 0.75%. As for the telecom sector, it remained unchanged.
Moreover, the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) topped the session declining stocks with 9.52%, whereas Arkan Building Materials topped the risers with 4.79%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) showed the highest turnover of AED 19.56 million, while Dana Gas was the most actively traded stock with 5.34 million shares.
As for the performance of the blue-chip stocks, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went down by 1.04%, whereas Dana Gas solely inched up by 0.65%.
