Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged higher by 0.72% at the end of Monday’s trading session, closing at 5,111.78 points.
The market’s liquidity registered AED 2.66 billion where 211.06 million shares were traded through 1,646 transactions.
Meanwhile, the market cap value increased by AED 2.52 billion to reach AED 524.72 billion from AED 522.20 billion on Sunday.
Emirates Driving Co was the top winner with 14.92%, whereas Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) led the losers with 5.08%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 76.94 million, while Ras Al Khaimah Cement Company (RAK Cement) was the most active stock with 15.53 million shares.
The leading stocks of Aldar Properties and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) were up by 0.93% and 0.65%, respectively. Meanwhile, ADCB went down by 2.23%.
