Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Monday’s early trades.
The general index fell 0.04% or 2.1 points to 4,672.7 points by 10:37am UAE time.
Turnover amounted to AED 47.1 million after trading 38.15 million shares through 456 transactions.
The energy sector led losers after falling 3.6% due to a decline in TAQA and Dana Gas by 5.88% and 3.51% respectively.
The telecom sector retreated 0.27% as Etisalat levelled down 0.27%.
On the other hand, the real estate and consumer staples sectors increased 1.22% and 0.12% respectively.
TAQA saw trading of 11.23 million shares, while Asmak generated AED 12.72 million after rising 0.67%.
