Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) suffered losses on Thursday, weighed down by the decline of energy and banks stocks.
The main index retreated 0.27% or 12.42 points to reach 4,581.30 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 67.02 million after trading 23.4 million shares through 686 transactions.
The energy sector fell 1.4% after TAQA went down 5%.
The banks sector also tumbled 0.30% due to a decline in First Abu Dhabi Bank by 0.44%.
The telecom sector retreated 0.28% as Etisalat levelled down 0.28%.
The real estate sector sank 0.10% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties declined 2.73% and 0.44%, respectively.
On the other hand, the services sector gained 0.64% as Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) went up 4.35%.
