ADX closes Tuesday in green; turnover nears AED 383m

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged up by 0.26% at Tuesday’s close to settle at 4,519.56 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 105.72 million shares; traded values totalled AED 382.92 million, whilst the number of concluded deals recorded 1,741.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.06 billion to reach AED 672.97 billion today from AED 671.91 billion a day earlier.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) headed the winners with 14.95%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) topped the losers with 4.69%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) logged the largest turnover of AED 89.42 million, while Aldar Properties was the most actively traded stock after exchanging 32.55 million shares.

As for blue chips, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) added 1.24%, wheras Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) inched down by 0.62%.
