Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched down by 0.71% or 31.14 points to close Thursday's trading session at 4,345.28 points, unlike the upward performance on Wednesday, 17 June.
Turnover amounted to AED 372.91 million after 98.69 million shares were exchanged through 3,025 transactions.
The market cap value declined by AED 3.31 billion to AED 491.03 billion from AED 494.34 billion during the previous session.
The banks sector led the losers with 1.32%.
Waha Capital headed the red zone with 4.97%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co came on top of the green zone with 14.92%.
Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) recorded the highest turnover of AED 105.88 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 35.18 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) topped the losing blue chips with 1.34%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the rising blue chips with 1.72%.
