Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance on Thursday, dragged down by selling pressures on Aldar Properties and Etisalat.
The general index fell 0.08% or 3.41 points to reach 4,453.71 points.
Trading volume reached 313.03 million shares on Thursday, compared to 119.4 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover amounted to AED 316.39 million, compared to AED 432.62 million.
The real estate sector slid 0.8% after Aldar Properties went down 1.3%. The telecom sector retreated 0.56% after Etisalat tumbled 0.56%.
On the other hand, the energy sector rose 5.93% as Dana Gas went up 6.5% to AED 0.82, its highest level since 2014.
