Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Monday’s trading session in the green, spurred by the rise of telecom and real estate sectors.
The general index went up 0.71% or 31.90 points to stand at 4,549.05 point.
Turnover stood at AED 325.85 million on Monday, compared to AED 399.053 million last Thursday. Trading volume reached 199.983 million shares, compared to 194.30 million shares.
The telecom sector went up 2.17% as Etisalat gained 2.17%. The real estate sector also increased 1.96% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties grew 2.91% and 1.85% respectively.
The energy sector climbed 1.14% as TAQA levelled up 5.66%.
Eshraq Properties was the value leader after generating AED 96.59 million from the exchange of 89.88 million shares.
The banks sector fell 0.04% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) retreated 0.77%.
