UAE - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has entered into a partnership to provide Bespin Global, a South Korean cloud technology consulting and management company, with financial and non-financial incentives to establish in Abu Dhabi's Hub71.
Bespin Global will set up its regional headquarters and two innovation centres in Abu Dhabi: a Cloud Operations Centre and a Technology Hub for its cloud experts, according to a press release on Monday.
The partnership is part of ADIO’s AED 2 billion ($545 million) Innovation Programme to support technology-driven companies and foster innovative ideas.
As part of the partnership, Bespin Global will also collaborate with local universities to hire 5-10 Emirati interns each year.
The Director General of ADIO, Tariq Bin Hendi, said: "We are turning the status quo on its head with the purpose of promoting innovation, spurring solutions and creating long-term success for all. ADIO is committed to driving the future of innovation in the region."
Meanwhile, the CEO of Middle East & Africa – Bespin Global, Mouteih Chaghlil, remarked: "Abu Dhabi’s central position on the world map, paired with its involvement in a variety of crucial industries including Financial Services, Energy and Communication, makes it a sought-after business hub, internationally."
