ADES Holding delivers strong performance during Q1-26 despite operational suspensions in GCC

Riyadh - Mubasher: ADES Holding Company registered net profits attributable to the shareholders totaling SAR 236.44 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, an annual rise of 21.78% from SAR 194.15 million.

The revenues climbed by 62.61% to SAR 2.39 billion in Q1-26 from SAR 1.47 billion in Q1-25, according to the interim financial results.

The earnings per share (EPS) reached SAR 0.21 as of 31 March 2026, up year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 0.18.

Quarterly, the net profits surged by 7.14% from SAR 220.68 million in Q4-25, while the revenues jumped by 20.37% from SAR 1.98 billion.

Total backlog stood at SAR 34.47 billion in Q1-26, one of the highest in the industry and remaining largely stable compared to SAR 34.71 billion as of 31 December 2025.

CEO of ADES Holding, Mohamed Farouk, said: “During the quarter, a handful of temporary operational suspensions across the GCC were initiated in response to the evolving regional conflict and heightened geopolitical uncertainty.”

“ADES fully supported these precautionary measures, which were implemented with the safety and security of personnel and assets as the primary consideration,” Farouk added.

He noted: “Management believes these suspensions are short-term in nature, and importantly, they remain event-driven rather than demand-driven."

At the end of 2025, the Tadawul-listed group posted higher profits at SAR 818.01 million.
