Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, El-Sayyed El-Quseir, said a total of 287,000 tonnes of maize and soybeans worth around $143 million was released in one week, Akhbar El-Yom reported.
The released fodder comprised 212,000 tonnes of maize worth $84 million and some 75,000 tonnes of soybeans worth $57 million, in addition to supplements worth about $2 million.
During the period from 16 October to 29 December 2022, a total of 1.71 million tonnes of fodder valued at $856 million was released, the minister revealed.
