Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index grew 48.01 points, or 1.05%, to close at 4,605.04 points on Thursday, pushed up by the telecommunication, banks, and energy sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 185.54 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 156.6 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, rose 1.9% each.
The banks sector increased by 1.1% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went up 1.23%, while the real estate sector grew 0.51%, as Eshraq Properties gained 1.39%.
The energy sector rose 0.84% after Taqa levelled up 2.46%.
Aldar Properties topped the ADX in terms of value, with a turnover of AED 11.8 million, while Dana Gas led the market in terms of volume, with 84.76 million traded shares.
