Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s national enabler of the tourism sector, Tourism Development Fund (TDF), launched the sixth cohort of the ‘Grow Tourism Accelerator’ program to empower entrepreneurs and startups in the tourism sector, accelerate their growth, and enhance their readiness for expansion and investment.
The four-month new cohort focuses on providing non-financial solutions, including specialized workshops, mentorship sessions led by a select group of experts, and connections with key stakeholders in the tourism ecosystem, as stated by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Participants will have the chance to network with investors and financing entities interested in the sector, and will visit Silicon Valley to attend the Plug and Play Silicon Valley Summit. This will provide participants with exposure to global best practices, interactions with international investors and experts, and exploration of the latest trends and opportunities in the tourism sector.
Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of TDF, stated that the launch of the new cohort underscores the fund’s continued commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and startups in the tourism sector.
In July 2025, the TDF launched three programs —Grow Tourism Incubator, Tourism Hackathons & Bootcamps, and Grow Tourism Accelerator— to support startups at various stages of growth and innovation.
