Saudi Aramco shareholders review 2025 performance, strategic initiatives

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Oil Company, known globally as Saudi Aramco, has announced the results of its Ordinary General Assembly meeting which was held on 8 June 2026 and served as a formal platform to review the company’s overall performance for the 2025 fiscal year.

The meeting discussed Saudi Aramco’s strategic, operational, and financial performance during 2025 and was attended by a full complement of the Board of Directors, according to a bourse filing.

Shareholders reviewed the Board of Directors’ report, which provides a detailed account of Saudi Aramco’s strategic initiatives, market positioning, and operational achievements throughout the year.

Furthermore, the assembly discussed the consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended on 31 December 2025. This review allowed shareholders to examine the company’s balance sheet, income statements, and cash flows, ensuring transparency regarding its financial health.

The session also included a discussion of the independent auditor’s report for the same period. This external audit serves as a critical verification of the company’s financial reporting, confirming that its accounts were prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Joining the Chairman were Vice Chairman, Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Assaf, along with Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan, and Faisal bin Fadhil Al Ibrahim.

The company’s executive leadership was also present, including Khalid bin Hashim Al Dabbagh, and the President and CEO Amin bin Hassan Nasser.

International board members and the chairs of specialized committees played a central role in the proceedings. Stuart T. Gulliver attended in his capacity as the Chairman of the Audit Committee, while Robert W. Dudley represented the Sustainability, Risk, Health, Safety, and Environment Committee.

Other committee heads in attendance included Andrew N. Liveris, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, and Mark A. Weinberger, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Board member Lynn Laverty Elsenhans was also present for the session.
