Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Company achieved net profits after tax worth EGP 6.04 billion in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026.
The net income generated in the period from 1 July to 31 December 2025 was higher by 12% or EGP 666 million than EGP 5.38 billion in H1-24/25, according to the unaudited financial results.
The company’s total revenues before taxes amounted to EGP 62.69 billion in July-December 2025, reflecting a 17% growth by EGP 9.11 billion from EGP 53.57 billion in the same six months (6M) of 2024.
Net sales of Eastern Company also soared by 22% or EGP 4.11 billion to EGP 22.56 billion in H1-25/26 when compared with EGP 18.45 billion in H1-24/25.
Subject to the approval of the ordinary general meeting (OGM), the board members proposed the distribution of cash dividends amounting to EGP 1.45 per share to shareholders for the July-December 2025 period.
It is worth noting that in the first quarter (Q1) of FY25/26, Eastern Company posted net revenue of EGP 10.63 billion, higher than EGP 8.12 billion in July-September 2024.
