Doha – Mubasher: QNB Group posted on Sunday a net profit of QAR 2.75 billion ($754.9 million) for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2016, 5.5% up from QAR 2.61 billion ($716.46 million) for Q4-15.
Net profit for fiscal 2016 reached QAR 12.4 billion, rising 9.4% compared to QAR 11.33 billion for fiscal 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 14.4 for 2016, versus QAR 13.4 for 2015.
The board of directors has proposed to distribute cash dividend of QAR 3.5 per share (35% of the stock’s nominal value) and 1-for-10 bonus shares (10% of the share capital).
