Cairo – Mubasher: The stock of Electro Cable Egypt has been recently moving in an upward wave, forming higher peaks and troughs while trading above the moving average, which strengthens the medium-term trend, according to technical movements signaled by Mubasher Trade Research.
The stock has been moving within a sideways range, lately, without breaking through main levels. It opened today's session, 31 December 2025, with a noticeable rise in an attempt to break out of the EGP 3.05 and EGP 3.10 level, which represents a strong resistance and a sentimental barrier at the same time.
Moreover, a stable breakout of this level, accompanied by strong trading volumes, could pave the way to target EGP 3.41. If it succeeds in surpassing this level, the next target would be at EGP 3.65 and EGP 3.70.
The stock closed today’s session above the mentioned resistance level on a positive note. Mubasher Trade Research noted that the price behavior should be monitored if it retests the area to confirm the strength of the buyers in maintaining their positions.
Moreover, trading must be maintained above the EGP 3.05 and EGP 3.10 level to preserve the positive outlook, exit the sideways range, and target the mentioned levels.
In case of remaining below the level, the stock will stay in the sideways range, while the nearest support level will be at EGP 2.65.
Price Movement Summary
Electro Cable Egypt’s stock began 2025 with a strong decline in January, where the price dropped from EGP 2.85 to EGP 2.40.
Starting from February, the price entered a wide-ranging sideways phase and an accumulation stage without breaking through main levels until December.
Meanwhile, on the last trading day of 2025, the stock succeeded in closing above a significant resistance level, indicating the possibility of exiting the sideways range.
