Air Arabia’s revenues cross AED 3.4bn in H1-25; profits jump 11%

Dubai – Mubasher: Air Arabia recorded net profits after tax amounting to AED 655.01 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, up 11% year-on-year (YoY) from AED 631.34 million.

The revenues grew by 8% to AED 3.44 billion in H1-25 from AED 3.19 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2024, according to the financial results.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) hit AED 0.14 at the end of June 2025, compared to AED 0.13 in H1-24.

The company added 13 new routes in H1-25 and carried over 10.10 million passengers.

Income Results for Q2-25

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the UAE-based carrier generated AED 349.88 million in net profit after tax, lower by 3% than AED 390.17 million in Q2-24.

Revenues increased by 2% to AED 1.69 billion in Q2-25 from AED 1.65 billion a year earlier, while the basic and diluted EPS edged down to AED 0.07 from AED 0.08.

Abdullah bin Mohammad Al Thani, Chairman of Air Arabia, commented: “In H1-25, Air Arabia launched new routes, increased flight frequencies in key markets, and added aircraft to the fleet, enhancing our network, capacity, and customer offering.”

“This growth came despite ongoing industry challenges such as political instability in some markets, fuel price volatility, currency fluctuations, and supply chain constraints,” the Chairman noted.

He concluded: “As we look ahead to the remainder of 2025, our focus remains on expanding connectivity, serving new markets, and further enhancing operational efficiency and innovation.”

As of 31 March 2025, the net profits attributable to the owners of Air Arabia amounted to AED 305.10 million, up YoY from AED 241.03 million.
